Do Hotel Rooms Have Window Sills?

A short story cycle which looked at the homeless crisis and continued construction of hotels in Dublin.

The 9 piece short story cycle juxtaposed the different demographics in Dublin who are affected by the issue, making them cross paths throughout the book in one hotel over Christmas eve.

I released 100 printed copies of the book and sold them from The Library Project in Temple Bar as well as Hen’s Teeth store located in the Black pits, Dublin 8. I also sold them through my own channels. Being released in early December, the book sold out before Christmas and I donated all proceeds to the ICHH Homeless charity in Dublin City.

Below you can find various pages in the book. From the cover and foreword to the contents page and the blurb.

I have also attached all press I received from the release.

For the launch of the book, I was interviewed by FAC to discuss why I wrote the book, what I have done since leaving and plans for the future.

I was also interviewed by Soul Doubt Magazine to discuss the issues relating to the book. We mainly talked about politics, homelessness, UBI, social media and how they can interact to change how the global society operates. The full interview can be watched via the video on the right.
