BluePress Records
BluePress Records
An Irish-based UKG label run by Prozak and M4A4, focused on raw, underground sounds rooted in Dublin’s club culture.
I oversaw the new brand identity and art direction for the label, introducing a unified logo system and typographic framework to be used across releases, merchandise, and event materials.
This included developing a modular visual language inspired by Cubist art and 90s rave flyers, designing the “BP Head” logo, and establishing a consistent tone across drops. I also contributed to the strategic rollout of merch, event visuals, and the overall cultural positioning of the label.
BP006
For the BP006 release, I created the sleeve artwork, sticker inserts, and campaign video, building a consistent visual tone aligned with Bluepress’ evolving identity.
This drop marked the first appearance of the BP Head logo, introduced subtly on a minimal black-and-white sleeve. By holding back on the Cubist aesthetic, the design preserved the label’s raw, understated energy, while signalling the next stage of its visual direction.
PROZAK Irish Tour
Prozak, a rising UKG producer and DJ from Ireland now based in the UK, returned home in 2025 for his debut Irish tour. Co-presented by Bluepress and Slither Promotions, the tour was a landmark in bridging Ireland’s underground club culture with the UKG resurgence.
I created the visual identity for the tour, blending the cubist BP head and Slither’s snake iconography into a single graphic language. The artwork drew on Ed Hardy’s tattoo illustrations, referencing the bootleg energy of early-2000s club flyers and streetwear aesthetics that, like UKG itself, are rooted in working-class culture.
The design system carried across posters, social assets, and stickers, using Bluepress’s type family (Druk Wide Bold and stencil mono) with halftone textures authentic finish.
The result was a cohesive visual campaign that marked Prozak’s return, embedded the collaboration between Bluepress and Slither, and offered a recognisable identity for a moment of cultural exchange between Ireland and the UK.
